On Wednesday, the Garfield Girls Basketball Team faced off against the Bishop Blanchet Braves, crushing them 37-76, leaving Blanchet with no room to breathe.
Top performances from this game come from Senior Jada Walters achieving a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Jayda Lewis led the way in points in her very first high school game dropping 14 points and 6 assists dominating the court with bulldog pride. Along with her, Sophomore Katie Fiso had a solid game scoring 12 points with 6 assists.
This Friday, the lady bulldogs play again at Cleveland High School, hopefully keeping up the great standard that this season has been set to.
